Before a painting exists, a palette does. Every colour that appears in a BLUEVERZE original was mixed, tested, and layered on a small canvas palette first. These palettes carry the full history of a painting — every decision, every correction, every happy accident. They are not painted deliberately. They are the evidence of making. And that is exactly what makes them unique.
The yearly studio palettes
One palette per year. Since 2022.
Each year a single large studio palette accumulates the colours of every painting made that year. It is a document of time — a compressed record of an entire year’s work, unplanned, unrepeatable, and completely honest.
